Job Details
Welding and Fabrication: Weld and fabricate metal components for furniture pieces using techniques such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding to meet design specifications.
Experience: Minimum of 4 years of welding experience, preferably in furniture manufacturing or a related field.
Knowledge of finishing techniques, including metal polishing and coating.
Assembly: Assemble metal frames and structures accurately, ensuring they align with design plans and are structurally sound.
Material Preparation: Cut, grind, and shape metal parts as necessary, ensuring surfaces are smooth, clean, and ready for welding.
Read and interpret sketches, and technical drawings to accurately execute designs.
Finishing: Smooth and finish welded areas for a clean, seamless appearance.
Quality Control: Inspect welded structures and assembled pieces to ensure they meet both aesthetic and structural standards.
Equipment Maintenance: Maintain welding tools and equipment, performing routine checks and maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety regulations and best practices, using protective equipment and adhering to protocols when handling welding tools and materials.
